I think that Peaks father could treat Peak better than he does. He is not awful but just a little disengaged. For example in the beginning of the text his father was very absent from his life. He only showed up when Peak needed a father figure in court and because it interested Josh, not any one else but him. He is a a bit distant from Peaks life. I think that that Peak will become closer to his father because they have a few connections that will hopefully band them together. For example climbing. When they climb together they might start sharing events and facts about themselves and their pasts. Hopefully the stories from their pasts will band them together not break them apart.
I think Peak’s father is not being exactly the father he should be but it’s good that he came clean with Peak about using him for publicity. I think during the climb Josh will save Peak’s life or vice versa and they will have a stronger bond because of it. Also being famous isn’t exactly the worse thing that could happen to peak. More on this later, I got to go. Back to schoolwork.
I think Peaks Fatther could treat him a little better because he only took peak in just for him to climb the mountain. If peak would have been 15 his father wouldnt have tookin him in. i think that peak and his father wont have a very good relationship because hes only useing peak for publicity.
If think that Peak’s father, Josh, is very self centered. He went to New York to get Peak, but it was to help him get his money so that he isn’t in debt anymore. I think that Josh will get to know Peak better on the climb, and in the end of the story, he’ll live with Peak and his mother.
I think it is unfair that Peak’s father is using him just for him and his business to be recognized by having the youngest person reach the summit of Everest. He is trying to act nice so Peak doesn’t notice, but Peak does.
I do think that peaks father is partially using him to put the youngest person on the highest point in he world but also found out about the problem he was having and decided to help him with that as well
I think that the way Josh is treating Peak is unfair. When I found out that Josh was bringing Peak with him instead of in jail, I knew there was a catch. Before I knew this, I hoped that Josh did this to spend time with him and not for money. I hope that Josh and Peak will develop a relationship with each other through climbing and forget about the money.
Hi, I’m back. You missed me didn’t you. I don’t actually think Peak would be the youngest person to reach the top, but I think he would be the youngest American to summit. I think the appearance of Holly will really pull Peak and his dad together because they have a common “enemy”. See ya! Please don’t cry, I will be back soon.
I think peak father is not doing the right thing toPeak because he is never can go have freedom. Why can’t he call him dad if I was Peak I would really like to call him dad. If I was peak mom and my husband didn’t tell me that my son was climbing a moutain I will really upset. And I hope Josh is not there for the money and I hope Josh have sometime with Peak like son and father.
I think Josh is not treating him far.He is only using him to be the youngest person climbed Everest and wants to get poblisity.Also for money because he is broke.I think that Peak and Josh will have a bad relationship before the climb.Then when they are climbing their relationship will improve because they will trust each other more because it is life or death.
I think that he is treating Peak not well because Peak has to wait to climb further up the mountain. This might not be Peak’s father’s fault, but still I bet Peak is anxious to go further up Everest. Josh is also using him to be the first young person to reach the top of Mount Everest. I do not think this is right. Why not climb for fun? I think that now that Peak and his father are together and will be for the next little they will spend quality time with each other while doing what they do best.
Hi, it’s me again. My new prediction, is that everyone will be shocked to find that Holly will reach the top of Mount Everest before Peak, but she’ll keep the secret between her and Peak. She’ll tell everyone that Peak reached the summit, but won’t say the fact that she made it before Peak. This is what I think will happen.
